“I have often felt that this technology and these devices that connect us now more than ever before have divided us and helped build walls between each other. We tend to fill any spare moment with checking on other people’s lives and it helps construct a false perception that we’re somehow living lesser lives. Why do we feel the need to prove to others that we’re enjoying life? It seems we are unable to just enjoy the moment, it needs to be filled with something. What are all the things we are not seeing by stating at this screen, constantly checking checking checking checking?”
